Please note that You, ("You" and "Your") as a purchaser of products made available through discounthomedecoruk.co.uk ("Products") and Your use of products provided by discounthomedecoruk.co.uk is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms").

Your order will normally be dispatched within four to seven working days to mainland UK via DPD couriers.

Please note Special order items and imported products may take significantly longer to be dispatched as they have to be ordered in from our suppliers. Special order items will be clearly marked on our website.

Please note import duties and taxes may have to be paid in some countries. Before ordering please obtain details of these charges from Customs & Excise in the country to which the goods are being dispatched because we cannot be financially liable for any charges incurred.

International delivery will normally take up to 12 working days but this cannot be guaranteed. If any Products are out of stock You will be notified at the earliest opportunity.  All Products must be paid for prior to or on delivery.  Delivery will normally be by post or courier.   Risk shall pass on delivery. If there are any undelivered items or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to Discount Home Decor by You with full details within three working days of delivery. We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the Products, however arising.

Up to 14 days following the day of delivery

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return this product to us in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of receipt for a full refund.

You can also return bulk buy carton's providing you return the whole complete carton in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of receipt for a full refund.  We do not accept returns of individual rolls from carton stock, you must return the whole complete complete carton to qualify for a refund.

Prestigious Wallcoverings products are special order and subject to a 20% re-stocking charge therefore we recommend you contact us for a sample of the wallpaper prior to placing your order.

Lincrusta products are special order and non-refundable.

14 to 28 days after delivery

You may also return goods 14 to 28 days after purchase providing they and are in the same condition as stated above for a refund excluding original delivery charge and subject to a 20% re-stocking charge. Special order items are excluded from this 14 to 28 day returns policy.

This is subject to the following conditions:

The product must be unused, as new, in saleable condition and returned with the original product packaging.
Orders which are made to measure, cut or mixed to your requirements cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless they are faulty). Single rolls of wallpaper from a specific product code are non returnable 14 days after purchase due to ever changing batch no's.

Fabrics are non-returnable
We do not accept returns on fabrics as they are cut to size specifically for your order and are classed as a bespoke item in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling ) regulations 2000. We strongly recommend that you request a product sample first before placing an order to ensure you are fully aware of the product characteristics and colour.

Please note we cannot guarantee that the colours of products shown on screen are an accurate match due to different computer monitor settings.  Ensuring the colour is correct is the responsibility of the customer.

If you are not sure of quantities contact us with room sizes and we will work it out for you.

You are advised to not book any fitters/decorators/professionals in relation to the goods you have ordered until you have received your goods and checked them thoroughly to ensure they are satisfactory as no liability can be accepted for any consequential losses incurred due to delays or quality of goods.

Goods returned must be returned in original condition and packaging. Goods must be returned at the expense of the consumer by registered means.

Faulty Products

A full replacement will be made at no charge if the product is faulty or defective in any way within 28 days after receipt of your order. Please do note that you should check all wallpaper products for faults before and during hanging.
 
In the event of a fault please send a sample of the product to us with the label.  You should ensure that items are properly packaged and insured against loss and further damage before returning them to us.  We require samples of faulty products and labels for any faults to be considered. We cannot accept any responsibility for returned items which are lost in transit.

Fabrics

Before cutting any fabric please note; although every effort has been made to ensure the quality of the fabric, we strongly advise you to check through the entire roll of fabric prior to cutting for any defects and to ensure that it is the correct length, colour and design - as once the fabric has been cut we cannot accept any liability of the fabric thereafter for any faults as this is your acceptance of the fabric.

The following conditions apply to all fabrics purchased from our website:

All sizes stated or requested for fabrics are accurate to � 5% on the width, drop or pattern repeat.

Please be aware that up to 5% shrinkage may occur due to variations in atmospheric conditions whilst in situ at the window, or during the first wash or dry clean.

Fabrics are constructed with various natural yarns and synthetic fibres. Often there are slubs and natural weave irregularities which enhance the final appearance of the fabric. It should be noted that this is not a defect and is an inherent characteristic of the cloth.

Silk does not have a high colour fastness and therefore must be protected from the sunlight. We recommend interling and the added protection of blinds. Also the slubs, knots and irregular horizontal banding which occur are all natural characteristics of the silk yarn.

Fabrics are batch colour-dyed, as a result of this we cannot guarantee that one order to the next will be from the same colour batch.  If a specific colour batch is required then you will have to notify us prior to ordering so we can advise on availability.

Certain rolls of fabric are rolled in the reverse to the orientation of the pattern.  Please ensure you check that before cutting/sewing the fabric that you orientate the fabric the correct way to the pattern.  We cannot accept any responsibility for any fabric cut/sewn the wrong way around.

Your purchase of products for Discount Home Decor will be a contract made in England. Any dispute will be governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to any court of competent jurisdiction within England. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damage and accordingly some limitations here stated may not apply to you. Your rights are unaffected. Discount Home Decor can revise these Terms without notice by posting new Terms on the Discount Home Decor site or by notifying you by e-mail. Further purchase of products after such posting or notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

All goods are offered subject to availability and Discount Home Decor cannot be held responsible for products that become discontinued. Delivery dates are estimates only and time of delivery is not the essence of the contract. We endeavor to deliver the goods by the stated delivery date but may suspend or delay delivery and will not be liable for any loss whatsoever in the event of late delivery or non - delivery of goods or any installment outstanding. The buyer shall not be entitled to refuse to accept late delivery or treat late delivery as a breach of contract. No order may be canceled once goods have been dispatched.

Discount Home Decor cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). If Discount Home Decor discovers that a price was mis-stated or that a Product is out of stock, Discount Home Decor will notify You by e-mail. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion. You may have additional rights under warranties supplied by the manufacturer of the products you order. Please contact us or the manufacturer if you require further information.

You can buy both single rolls and cartons to make up the quantity you require. In this scenario we will try to match the batch no's of the single rolls with the carton rolls however this cannot be guaranteed and may differ. If you purchase single rolls or cartons on there own then the rolls will all be from the same batch no.

All Products are believed by Discount Home Decor to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Any defect should be reported to Discount Home Decor immediately it is discovered. All technical information in response to enquiry is given by Discount Home Decor in good faith. It will ultimately be for you to satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the product having regard to your own particular situation and upon site conditions that are unknown to Discount Home Decor. The liability of Discount Home Decor will not exceed the value of the products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.

Your purchase of products for Discount Home Decor will be a contract made in England. All price promise claims are submitted by contacting us via the online web form. Product being price matched must be new and have an identical specification. Price promise is applicable against any online competitor to Discount Home Decor in the mainland UK, including any UK websites but excluding auction sites, market stalls, private sales, liquidation sales, our own stores or any typographical errors. Product must be in stock at competitor and available for immediate purchase or delivery. We must be able to verify the offer with the competitor. Prices must be inclusive of VAT and delivery charges where applicable. All Price Guarantee transactions are at our discretion. We reserves the right to withdraw the Price promise at any time.

In order to process payments online we require the billing address for the debit/credit card used and our external payment provider, Pay Pal, requires your debit/credit card details. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties To help to understand the needs of our customers and improve service, your responses to questions and other data will be held on our database. This data is not made available to any other company. We endeavour to protect the information you provide and there are various security procedures that have been put in place. Our servers can only be accessed by authorised personnel.

The Country of Merchant Domicile is the UK. The transaction currency is UK Sterling.
